With today being viewed by some as the start of summer and a time when all sports are in full swing (except for the NFL) I decided to make my first ever post on what will be your favorite sports blog today, Memorial Day 2009.
What a better way then to start with the Lakers/Nuggets Game 4 from Denver. Is it just me, or are the Lakers the most inconsistent"dominant" team in recent memory? The blow teams away by 30-40 points one night, then come out the following game and play with a true lack of passion and interest. As a fan of good competition I find this frustrating as hell! Don't get me wrong, Denver is a good team, but they won 11 games less than the Lake Show (65 for LA to 54 for Denver) and the Lakers outclass them at shooting guard, power forward and center. Denver's bench is solid but realistically this should be a 5 game series IF the Lakers played to potential every night.
Let's see what happens.... side bar; D. Fisher shouldnt be playing more than 20 minutes a night. Mark my words, the Lakers WILL be drafting a point guard this off season.
